James "Jim" R. Buckheister, Sr. was born September 12, 1935 and resided in Indianapolis, IN until his death on April 26, 2021. He is proceeded in death by his wife of 57 years, Ardith A. Buckheister. He had 6 children – Janice and her husband Dennis, Susan and her husband Glen, Linda and her husband Sidney, Jim Buckheister Jr. and his wife Tami, Sherri and her husband Dan and Terri Overbeck, along with 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Jim was a plumber and steamfitter thru the Local #440 before he retired in 1996. In February 1961 he dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was currently attending the Christian Park Congregation in Indianapolis, IN. Throughout his life he formed many lasting friendships. So, as we begin to remember, not just that you died, but that you lived, and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. (2 Cor. 1:3,4) A Zoom memorial service will be on May 23, 2021 at 2PM. Please feel free to contact a family member for the meeting ID and Password information. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this difficult time.
